Rachel Brown

Rachel grew up in Kew, South West London, adjacent to Kew Gardens; in 1994 she moved to East Sussex.

When Rachel's management position in a large, well known bank was made redundant after 10 years, she decided to use her strong customer service and organisational skills to start her own business. Having attended events as an exhibitor for 13 years, she decided to indulge her love of coffee and start her own mobile coffee bar. Hit Coffee was born.

In 2007, Rachel was the first person to pass the City & Guilds Barista Level 2 VRQ run by the Beverage Service Association at at the London School of Coffee, gaining a "Merit" pass. During this course, Rachel discovered she had a new passion - tea! Hit Coffee now offers speciality teas such as single estate White, Green and Oolong teas in addition to the more familiar black teas, all brewed at the correct temperatures using filtered water, resulting in the best possible cuppa.

In her spare time Rachel races her Australian Shepherd Dog, Phoenix, with the Underdogs flyball team, and shows her in obedience & breed shows - she gained a 2nd place at Crufts in 2004 (She also gained a place at Crufts with her previous dog, an Akita named Tally). Rachel also helps dog owners with their dog's behavioural problems and gives one to one training and behaviour counselling.

Rachel is Australian Shepherd breed advisor at the Discover Dogs show at Earls Court and Crufts.
